Step One: Order your special piece of jewellery
Take your time to browse through our collection of beautiful jewellery pieces. Select the inclusions and finish you desire and place your order on the website.
Step Two: Send us your inclusion using the kit sent out in the post
Within the next few days, you will receive your milk/inclusion collection kit delivered right to your doorstep. This kit contains everything you need to safely collect and send your breastmilk/inclusion back to us.
The kit also includes a prelabelled return postage box (return postage is also prepaid for ROI customers). Then send it back to us in the post. Easy peasy!
Step Three: Creating your customised jewellery
The first step in the creation process is preserving your milk as soon as it arrives back to us. We use a preservation technique to turn it into a crystallised fine powder. This is mixed with epoxy resin to encapsulate your milkstone.
One of the final stages is adding your desired finish to the piece. These finishes showcase and accentuate the natural beauty of your milk stone in different lighting, or you can opt for a pure milk stone finish.
The whole process takes 8-12 weeks from the time we receive your inclusion back to us at Mama & the Moon.

When you receive your Mama & the Moon jewellery, we encourage you to wear it with pride!
